Fire Relief Association 

Relief Associations are a separate legal entities from fire companies. They are funded through a state imposed 2% tax on fire insurance policies. Funds may only be used for certain items that include; training, certain equipment, death benefits, insurance policies, or can be invested. The funds are regularly audited by the state.

It is the Mission of the Nittany Valley Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. to professionally protect the lives and property of those who reside, visit and travel through Porter Township, Clinton County and it's surrounding areas.
This is accomplished by providing the highest quality of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services to those in need through the dedication of trained Volunteers using the best equipment and resources available, while having mindset towards training, fire prevention, service, safety and progression.
